How do you feel as a new entrant into the world of production?
I can’t really explain how I feel because this a dream I have nurtured for so long and seeing it come to reality is just like a dream come true to me and perhaps the reception has been immeasurable considering the fact that it is my first major production as a producer.
What actually prompted your decision to turn producer over night?
I want to correct that impression of me turning into a producer over night simply because I have been in the industry for quite an age now and for me to produce a movie of my own is just to let the world understand the fact that even been an actress; I can as well turn out to be fantastic producer and that has been my dream for a very long time.
On Bended Knees is directed by good hands; what formed your choice of selection?
I feel they both understood what I was looking out for in the production of the movie; so having Emem Isong and Lancelot Imasuen as my directors is the greatest thing that happened to me because they both believed in my dream. Even at the time of giving up on the production; they were both there to encourage me and at the end of it all I was able to have a fantastic movie.
What is the movie all about?
On Bended Knees is a movie very dear to my heart. It’s a captivating story of a young and vibrant man who relegated his duties as a husband and the man of the house to the background. His wife, ignored and lonely, finds comfort in the company of her boss. It is discovered that the wife is having an affair with her boss and things take a new twist. This story happens every day even in the midst of the “seemingly” perfect relationships. It’s a movie every home should have and watch.
Considering when you started in the industry; what is your view on the standard of movies been produced in Nigeria presently?
Well professionally, I started acting in 2000 and there is a far difference between the kind of films produced now and back in the days; I can authoritatively say it loud and clear that the Nigerian movie industry has been impressive considering the kind of equipments we now use in shooting our movies. Also, we have been able to meet up with international standard. I believe the sky is our starting point and definitely not our limit.
You have managed and maintain an almost scandal free reputation; how have you been able to manage this?
I feel it has been the grace of God because we all are not created perfect and as such we just manage to be our self and be of the best behaviour. I just feel being an actor opens you up to controversies, scandals and all that. Maybe I’ve just been lucky.
As a married woman, what has marriage taught you?
I have learnt a lot from been a married woman because it only take the Grace of God for two people who are completely different to stay together for the rest of their lives. One major thing I have learnt is patience and perseverance. One needs to tolerate one another. I and my husband not just see ourselves as been married; we are also friends.
Much has not been said about your husband; how will you describe him and why haven’t we been seeing you two together?
I have got the best husband as a friend and the father of my children; he is loving, caring and has been supportive of my career and for not seeing him around me; it’s our mutual agreement to make our marriage private. We are happy and our source of joy been our children.
What is that one impression that people have about you and you would like to correct?
Definitely it’s going to be on this issue of me been arrogant which I know I am not; I strongly believe in the saying that you don’t judge a book by its cover. I guess people of that impression are people who don’t know me or aren’t closer to me. I am not arrogant.

The former nursing student Milyn Jensen who was credited for the break up of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez says she was 'absolutely shocked' when she found out she was the reason for their split,and it makes her feel very bad.
Milyn Jensen hooked up with Justin in December last year 2012, after being introduced by bieber best friend, rapper Lil Twist.
Speaking with newmen, the 22-year old said: 'I was absolutely shocked when I read he had split up with Selena over what we did. I hate being the girl that broke them up.'

Milyn - fondly known as Mimi by her friends - said Justin whisked her, her best friend and Twist off in his custom-design 4x4 to MacDonald's after meeting a nightclub in Los Angeles on the night of December 21.
After buying her 'some large fries' and 'two double cheeseburgers for himself', the 19-year old allegedly drove them to a marijuana store then back to his $4.5 million LA home.
After a quick tour, Bieber allegedly took Jensen to the Beverly Hills Four Seasons hotel, where he had a luxury penthouse suite decked out with 'white roses' for their arrival.
'He offered me a drink... I'd only taken two sips before we started messing around,' Mimi said. 'Suddenly we were kissing and I started to take off my clothes, it was a natural thing.

“When it comes to fashion, I’m a person who isn’t scared to take risk. I tell people you won’t be young forever, so I don’t mind taking risk and showing off a little skin. When I’m older and married I won’t even want to allow myself show off my husband's property but right now, I’m single, I’m singing and I’m young so I want to be as comfortable and fashionable as possible. It’s 2013 and people are accepting new trends! I’ll take judgements from some views but that’s part of being an entertainer, you want people to.

Zack Orji condemns indecent dressing Of Nollywood Actress(SEE)
Nollywood veteran actor, former chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria and a pastor in the Power Life Assembly Ministry, Owerri(AGN) Mr Zack Orji, has condemned the level of indecent dressing among Nollywood actress in the country.
Pastor Orji, noted that movies which were originally meant to promote our cultural heritage and discipline were being bastardised in the name of civilisation.
“Most movie shown in recent times are capable of destroying the moral background of children as they have become the most popular movie audience.
“Film production must be properly checkmated before circulation because it is wrong for an actor or actress to expose his or her body to the world in the disguise of acting,’’ he said.
Orji said that some actresses were suspended during his regime as the chairman of the Actors Guild and advised actors and actresses to lead lives worthy of emulation.
yes this is true some actress and not just a good role model to this generation....should i mention names??

The Comic actress Funke Akindele sort of replied her husband's interview with Encomium magazine that he was building a house for her before she walked out of their marriage.

That place is not for me, I have been through hell and back.
I was abused emotionally and verbally. Really, I felt we could work things out when the trouble started two months after the marriage.
But I made up my mind and shut the door of the marriage at him when the trouble was coming to me too much.
I stooped to conquer him; buried my fame and name to make him my husband, but it did not work. At a point in time, I asked if it's not the same man that was all over me before we married.
He nearly got me off my career. He called me severally; I did not pick his calls but when he realized my silence was tormenting him, he took to Facebook.
It's al-right.
Ask him when did he come to my house last? He left me here in my rented apartment with nothing and he will just dash in and dash out. He gets abusive, caustic anytime we have a misunderstanding and often told me to my face, he's going to his wife in Oshodi.
He sent me SMS that he has seen a buyer for his house at Adeniyi Jones for N40million. He asked me if he should sell it and that if he does, he will buy me a new car and a rent me a new apartment.
Why now? I don't need all that, I want my sanity. I respect him to the end but he chose to treat me that way. He said he wanted to clip my wings.
After Funke ignored him, he sent her another text abusing her and calling her names.
“So you can see that he does not mean well for me,” Funke re-iterated.
Now that the cookie has crumbled, Kehinde has been calling and sending text messages, begging her to come back.
He boasted: “I will do anything to win my wife back.”
Observers of the marriage from inception feel that when fame and money come to a meeting point in a relationship, it will result in problems if the couple are not committed and disciplined.
Funke and Kehinde rarely spent substantial time together even at the peak of their marriage.
Both kept to hectic schedules by virtue of their chosen professions.
While Funke is often involved in back-to-back shooting on movie sets, Kehinde jumps from one construction site to another; pressing buttons for his political ambitions; and keeping dates with his wife at home and other women by the side.
This sort of arrangement invariably makes keeping faith with the vows of the union very difficult. In the long run, suspicion will rear its ugly head and the couple will eventually drift apart, especially when they don't live under the same roof.

Serena Williams criticised for blaming victim
Serena Williams is heavily criticised for the remarks she made about the victim of the Steubenville Ohio r3pe case. A 16year old girl who was r3ped by high school student, Trent Mays and Ma'Lik Richmond, who were each sentenced to a year in juvenile jail in March this year.
In an interview she grant Rolling Stone magazine, BELOW is what Serena SAID....
"Do you think it was fair, what they got? (The high school football player) They did something stupid, but I don't know. I'm not blaming the girl, but if you're a 16-year-old and you're drunk like that, your parents should teach you: Don't take drinks from other people. She's 16, why was she that drunk where she doesn't remember? It could have been much worse. She's lucky. Obviously, I don't know, maybe she wasn't a virgin, but she shouldn't have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that's different."
People were outraged by her remarks and blasted her on social media.
